March 2010 (BE)
Do you ever feel like you don’t have anything to offer in regard to inspiration, motivation, support, emotional comfort, or education? Sometimes I feel that while I have this online outlet for an expressive approach to help heal, I also feel I have nothing to share from my experiences. And, that’s why I turned to you, my readers, for your stories and experiences.
This month alone, I received over 100 personal stories from women across the country; Stories I couldn’t imagine really existed. As the stories poured in I began to realize that we all have many experiences, big or small, to communicate with the world. These wonderful women were ecstatic that they had a place to share their story. I’m so delighted that I can provide this safe place for us to express, vent, and grow together.
Do you think that a 50-year old can learn from a 17-year old and vice versa? I honestly believe they can. Identity’s Scratch the Surface is about a young lady, Ji Young Chun, who at 17 moved to America to fulfill her passion in art and start her entrepreneur-path to success. That takes guts and a day-to-day strength, which any woman at any age can learn.
What about when it comes to relationships? Do you feel that some of your friends seem to have the best companionships? Think again. We received a variety of not-so-perfect ways when it comes to relationship stories and from all generations. We all have these quirks to remind us that we are not perfect.
This issue is loaded with intriguing stories, so take that break and check it out!
