Presidential Election next week! Who are you voting for and better yet, are you in a relationship where the both of you stand behind the same candidate? This month, Founder Susan Vernicek shares her personal thoughts on our 2012 candidates and tips to be polite during the Presidential Election.
Who are you voting for in
the Presidential Election?
I’m not that brave to tell you which candidate I’m voting for, but, I am curious on your views and which candidate you are voting for. Yikes, is that too personal?
I have a confession. I’m in withdrawal because an old friend of mine used to break the politics down for me in very clear points on the pros and cons on each candidate.
He has moved and we haven’t had our conversations in a long time. So now, I need you to share your thoughts and point of views. No pressure of course, but I would love to hear them and welcome them in the comment section at the bottom of this post.
It’s interesting because Rob and I don’t really share the same thoughts on who we would vote for, but we don’t really get into in on a deeper level because I just don’t really think I’m educated enough on politics to debate and really stand up for who I am voting for. I know… sad, I’ll get there one day, but for now, I’ll keep most of my thoughts to myself because I am just not 100% sure I can got to bat for either of the candidates.
Presidential Election Tips
I am definitely not an expert on giving tips about politics, but here are a few tips to BE POLITICALLY POLITE during the Presidential Election.
1. Be kind: Remember, discussing politics can be a war and it’s important to respect somebody else’s point of views and opinions. So as we approach Election Day, be kind, be open to listen to others and embrace their point of views and respect them.
2. Sharing your views: Share your views and opinions, but share them with a neutral tone and not in a fierce, my view is right kind of tone. Of course show your passion, but no need to force your opinion.
3. Smile on the day of Election Day: Whether you voted or not, Smile to those who you encounter on this day. It’s an intense day, and don’t interrogate those who don’t vote because frankly, it’s none of our business on why somebody didn’t vote.

Here’s to our future…and at least I can 100% say and believe that you can…
