It’s only human, but you CAN have that presence and confidence and I’m sure you’ve had that spark and spunk when you have been in your moment of comfort and happiness.

I love seeing a woman lit up with her own spark and spunk. The best part of witnessing a woman rocking her identity is when you, and all those in the room around you, shoot their eyeballs up and glare as this woman of self-assurance walks through the entrance. She lights up the room as she enters, and we all admire her confidence and poise.

You can have a presence and confidence

You think for a moment, “Gosh, she’s stunning. I wish I had that presence and confidence.” Don’t lie; we’ve all thought that one time or another. It’s only human, but you CAN have that presence and confidence and I’m sure you’ve had that spark and spunk when you have been in your moment of comfort and happiness.

Try this visual for a moment.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
Roll your shoulders back while sitting/standing up straight.

Comfort, Confidence, Composure

Now, see if you can visualize and feel that sensational feeling of being filled and lit up with your very own spark and spunk. Feel the warm glow of confidence around your body. How far do you see the shine? Feel your comfort, confidence, and composure. Now sit with that for a moment, or try this a few times, until you can grab that visual and feel the amazing sensation.

I’ve created a few tips for you to tackle in order to create a little more spark and spunk into your identity.

1.   Hang out with those that bring your spark and spunk out: We hear this all the time, right? Hang out with those who let you shine and let you embrace your identity. Spend time laughing, having great conversations, and with those friends that inspire you. Don’t hang out with those that judge you and don’t make you feel comfortable in your own skin. We all deserve to spend time with those we click with and uplift one another’s identity.

2.   Get dressed: We all know getting showered and dressed for the day makes you feel put together. I know that when I don’t shower and don’t get dressed for the day, I feel sluggish. So now, I get dressed in what I like and feel good in. It then reflects my attitude and how I carry myself. Give it a try.

3.   Drink water and eat balanced: Drinking lots of water will flush your system out.   Even if you drink one glass before each meal. The more you flush out the toxins, the better because you will feel more cleansed.   Same goes with eating a more balanced diet.   I don’t recommend giving anything up, that’s not how I roll, but balance your intake out by ensuring you’ve covered all the food groups. Go lighter on meals at night, and heavier in the morning.   I like to eat a really healthy, full breakfast, and then snack throughout the day.   My dinners are earlier than 7 p.m., so I have nothing after 7 p.m, and wait at least 3 hours before I go to bed. I feel fully digested and light before I hit the sack each night.

4.   Love the life you have:   Before you read number 5, you must love your life now.   Find all that is amazing in your life. Find all that you are thankful for. Once you start to become more in love with your present life, even bits and pieces at first, you will start to see a difference in your outlook and the events that happen in your life will start to align in your favor.

5.   Find your passion: Once you start to improve with tip 4, you will most likely start to find more passion in your life.   Once you start to feel and embrace passion, your spark and spunk will shine through giving you that stronger presence and confidence that you deserve.
