Life is hectic. Between family, work, friends and taking care of yourself, it seems like there are never enough minutes in the day to get everything done.

Life is hectic. Between family, work, friends and taking care of yourself, it seems like there are never enough minutes in the day to get everything done.

Before, staying organized and keeping track of all of your tasks meant lugging around a gigantic calendar or planner, but now, with the technology available today, all you need is a helpful app or two to download onto your phablet.

WakeVoice

Everyone knows that if you wake up “on the wrong side of the bed,” it can ruin your whole day. With this innovative app, your day can start however you want. It has fully customizable clock and alarm settings as well as a voice-activated capability to turn off the alarm. The best part is that after the alarm is off, the app will start talking to you about the news, weather or other customizable messages. What a great way to wake up!

Mint.com Personal Finance

This app from Intuit is the perfect way to organize and manage your budget and finances. You can organize all of your financial accounts in one place from your 401(k) to your credit cards to your checking and savings accounts. You also can set a detailed budget with multiple categories and view your spending on a daily basis. It even has the ability to track your credit score absolutely free.

Wunderlist

Wunderlist is an intuitive, interactive, easy-to-use app to organize and manage your to-do lists and projects. You can create, edit and even share your lists with family and friends, and everything updates and syncs in real time. It also lets you attach photos or PDF files for easy reference as well as create reminders so that you never forget a task or important event.

Goal Tracker

With this app on your phone you will always know exactly where you are with any of your goals. It has the ability to help you create and manage multiple goals across all areas of your life including health, socializing, hobbies, career and family. It also lets you track your progress on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Not to mention the app has daily reminders so that you don’t fall behind!

My Fitness Pal

This is by far one of the best health and fitness apps out there. It has a huge database of foods that you can put in to track your exact calorie and nutrition intake, and it also lets you input your own foods. In addition, you can monitor your intake of carbs, sugars, protein, fats and vitamins. It also gives you the ability to set health goals, connect and share with friends and set daily reminders to help you with your nutrition.

Words With Friends

On the off chance that you have a free minute or two in between the myriad of things you are doing every day, this Scrabble-style game lets you compete directly with your friends and family. You can have fun, learn a new word or two and exercise your brain all at the same time!

Identity Magazine is all about empowering women to get all A’s in the game of life — Accept. Appreciate. Achieve.TM Every contributor and expert answer the Identity 5 questions in keeping with our theme. As a team, we hope to inspire and motivate ourselves and inspire you to get all A’s.

What have you accepted within your life, physically and/or mentally? What are you still working on accepting?

The biggest thing I have accepted in my life is myself. Learning to appreciate myself completely as I AM now so that I can go where I want to go and be who I want to be.

What have you learn to appreciate about yourself and/or within your life, physically and mentally? What are you still working on to appreciate?

I appreciate my ability to always be willing to grow and learn from the things that did not turn out as I expected.

What is one of your most rewarding achievements in life? What makes YOU most proud? What goals and dreams do you still have?

One of the most rewarding achievements was my struggle with 20 years of depression and how I found clarity and came through healthier and stronger because of it. The biggest goals I have are to be a best selling author and to create a family.

We all have imperfections, so we think. The truth–we are all perfectly imperfect. What are your not-so-perfect ways? What imperfections and quirks create who you are–your Identity?

Being completely honest, one of my biggest imperfections is my struggle with discipline; doing the things on a regular basis that will help me achieve my dreams. As to quirks, I have many but my most favorite is my appreciation of the random and unexpected.

“I Love My…” is an outlet for you to express and appreciate all the positive traits that make you…well… YOU! Sharing what you love about yourself will make you smile, feel empowered, and uplift your spirit and soul. (we assure you!)

Identity challenges you to complete the phrase “I Love My…?

I Love My… intelligence and adaptability and especially my ability to bring a smile to other’s faces.
