Happy people don’t concern themselves with the thoughts or negative opinions of others. They are too busy basking in the glory that is their own life.

Someone who is happy feels empowered by every moment of their life, both good and bad, big or small; it does not matter what the outside world thinks about their life.  Happy people don’t concern themselves with the thoughts or negative opinions of others.  They are too busy basking in the glory that is their own life.  This wonderful, stress free, beautiful life can be yours to take.

Use these 5 signs you’ve found the path to happiness to determine how.

  1. Every day you face a new challenge. These challenges hold within them the essence of defeat.  They taunt your strength and misconstrue your current perception. They force you time and time again to consult your values, your instincts, and the way you want to live your life.  The more  challenges you face in life, the more certain you will be that this life is indeed the life that will make you happy, for you will see that even in the face of struggle, you still choose to remain where you are.   Control over our lives give us a sense of power over our own happiness.  Sometimes the choices we make repetitively will not initially  lead to our happiness; be certain, however, that every challenge will lead you to euphoria.  One day you will look back and see that without the hardships, you would not have been redirected by the blessings of the fall, to your own happiness
  2. You are not always in the best of moods, but you realize that doesn’t mean you aren’t happy.  It just means that you are human.   Confidence and success stem from the ability to see that the path to perfection is not always perfect.  In fact, it will never be perfect, not even when you have reached exactly where you have always wanted to go.  However, one who is happy accepts that it is okay to feel, to cry, to scream, to feel joy, to feel pain, or to admit defeat.  However, a happy person is aware that one, or several emotions, do not dictate them as a human being.  Allow yourself to feel emotion, but don’t let it define you.
  3. You don’t constantly look to the future; you’re too busy living in the present.  Happy people plan for the future, and take little steps that will ultimately lead to their success.  However,  success can be found in the simplest actions of life that are happening NOW.  The world is interdependent, and humans coexist in every community.  We cannot succeed without each other. The happiest people are the ones that wake up everyday and reflect on how far they have come, where they are now, and what they must do now to continue to succeed to build the future.  Nothing, besides magic, can create anything out of thin air.  Happy people are thankful for, and bask in the beauty that is their life, today.
  4. You can look back and see how far you’ve come, yet you’re humble enough to ask, what’s next?  Happy people feel pride in their accomplishments, and take the time to appreciate their efforts to get there.  They feel a sense of satisfaction, or a sense of purpose, with most decisions made.  If they feel uncomfortable, they open the gates to a new path.  Happy people are satisfied, yes, but always seek more for they know, there is no such thing as too much happiness.
  5. You feel a sense of acceptance and appreciation around you, and surround yourself with people who only lift you higher.  You begin to realize you can’t please everyone. People who are blissful in the life will accept that not everyone in life is going to like them, for what ever reason that is their own.  Happy people do not waste their time, energy, or power exhausting themselves pleasing the ones that think nothing is good enough; happy people are too busy making the ones that they love happy, too.
Repel superstition, obliterate lies, and never compromise.

Repel superstition, obliterate lies, and never compromise.

Once you realize that this is your life, and it is happening right now, you will be your spiritual master.  Nothing will stand in your way to your ultimate goal: a life lived with freedom of thought, expression, passion, success, and most importantly, love.

It’s that feeling, that you find, when you’ve done all you can do.

It’s that yearning, that consumes your mind, when you trust in something new.

Yet fear and pain, displace what you know;

but the moment you let go,

is the moment that decides how you will grow.

Will you get all you want and more?

Will you spread your wings and soar?

Or will you be redirected by the blessings of the fall?

Will you find all you have to find

to be happy in this life?

What it’s all about, is the passage, of time.

Make the decision to change.

You will be scared, but you have nothing to fear

for you will feel when you’re coming near

all you have wanted in your life.

You will feel a drive burning inside.

Will you get all you want and more?

Will you spread your wings and soar?

Or will you be redirected by the blessings of the fall?

Will you find all you have to find

to be happy in this life?

What it’s all about, is the passage, of time.

Trust in what you feel to be where you belong.

Express what you think, for it will be your song.

And once you find your tune, you must sing louder than before.

For beauty is found in the scars you always wore.

You may not know what is yet to come, but no one ever does.

You may feel scared, trust in what you find to be your serenity, and what directs you from above.

Let go...

Let go…

For I have to tell you, you will never be prepared for what you’re about to feel.

That is how you know, that what you feel?

Well, it’s finally real.

Identity Magazine is all about empowering women to get all A’s in the game of life — Accept. Appreciate. Achieve.TM Every contributor and expert answer the Identity 5 questions in keeping with our theme. Their answers can be random and in the moment or they can be aligned with the above article. As a team, we hope to inspire and motivate ourselves and inspire you to get all A’s.

1. What have you accepted within your life, physically and/or mentally? What are you still working on accepting?

I have not yet reached where I want to be with my career; however, we all must start somewhere.  It’s all about the passage of time.  I am confident that right now, I am right where I need to be.

2. What have you learn to appreciate about yourself and/or within your life, physically and mentally? What are you still working on to appreciate?

I take the time to reflect on my life multiple times a day every day.  It allows me to take a step back and see, I truly do live a wonderful life.  It keeps me being the bubbly, friendly, loving, passionate, and unique girl I always have been.

3. What is one of your most rewarding achievements in life? What makes YOU most proud? What goals and dreams do you still have?

I live my life for me.  I stay true to my values no matter what the outside world does to try to tempt my integrity and perception of the world.  I may be small, but I have great plans to create change.  I plan to keep trying to spread my message and song until one day, someone notices that believes in my drive enough to bring my dreams to life.  I will never give up.

4. We all have imperfections, so we think. The truth–we are all perfectly imperfect. What are your not-so-perfect ways? What imperfections and quirks create who you are–your Identity?

I feel everything around me; it can challenge my positive view of the world.  However, it always makes me stronger than before.

5. “I Love My…” is an outlet for you to express and appreciate all the positive traits that make you…well… YOU! Sharing what you love about yourself will make you smile, feel empowered, and uplift your spirit and soul. (we assure you!) Identity challenges you to complete the phrase “I Love My…?”

I love my wonderful life, and nothing can take my view on life away from me.  This is my life, my choice, MY decisions. Nothing will stand in my way to happiness.
