As summer bestows its warmth upon us, don’t forget to glitter up your outfit and step out to shine brighter than the sun! While white has been ruling the wardrobe this summer you can always add some colored jewels and stand out from the crowd with these hot trends this summer.
Be Edgy: Earrings with an edge are the latest trend in the accessories world. Go for jewelry that is simple but speak volumes of style with elegance. Pro tip: When you select an edgy-style, go with natural tones crystals.
Cuffs: Metal cuffs are shining all over fashion magazines and are the easiest way to stylize summer tank tops and rule all over the beach. Pro tip: Go for the matt gold look!
Long Necklaces: While the bracelets rule the beach, summer evenings love long necklaces. Choose long necklaces that merge in with your outfit and add to the flow of it. Pro tip: Tassels are still rocking the ramp!
Layer Bangles: A little arm candy goes a long way! Layer up your bangles and add some sha-zazz to your outfit. Pro tip: Look in your treasure box; you probably already have so many thin bracelets you can create this look with.
Statement Rings: Bold, brilliant rings that make it impossible for anyone to focus on anything but your hands. Pro tip: Choose big raw rocks and minerals!
Forever stylish, never dull… These glitters are from my personal collection that you can now shop at GlitterTrunk.com.

Identity Magazine is all about empowering women to get all A’s in the game of life — Accept. Appreciate. Achieve.TM Every contributor and expert answer the Identity 5 questions in keeping with our theme. Their answers can be random and in the moment or they can be aligned with the above article. As a team, we hope to inspire and motivate ourselves and inspire you to get all A’s.
1. What have you accepted within your life, physically and/or mentally? What are you still working on accepting?
I have accepted change! Life is always throwing new challenges, situations, and opportunities our way. The only way to sustain is to embrace change like a big wave in the ocean. I’m still working on accepting setbacks, I can’t deny them but to accept them is a whole different ball game. I try and learn from them and move on but sometimes they stick to me and are difficult to ignore.
2. What have you learn to appreciate about yourself and/or within your life, physically and mentally? What are you still working on to appreciate?
I have learnt to appreciate small achievements in life. They matter! Small achievements help us get to our ultimate goal. I read this quote and it blew my mind “The reason most people give up so fast is that they look at how far they still have to go, instead of how far they have come.” I’m still working on appreciating that as women we have to multi task: juggle our house, our work, our families. We may not be able to give a 100% to everything all the time and that’s OK!
3. What is one of your most rewarding achievements in life? What makes YOU most proud? What goals and dreams do you still have?
My most rewarding achievement will have to be my relations in life! The friendships I’ve created and the love and encouragement I receive makes me proud every day. There are so many goals and dreams and new ones I discover every day… but my ultimate dream is to have a rescue farm where I can keep all the animals that are mistreated, lost, or no longer loved by their families.
4. We all have imperfections, so we think. The truth–we are all perfectly imperfect. What are your not-so-perfect ways? What imperfections and quirks create who you are–your Identity?

Ironically, my biggest imperfection is my desire to do everything perfectly! When you have big goals it’s easy to get distracted… I constantly have to remind myself that sometimes you just have to get things done, even if it’s not “perfect”. My identity has to be my diligence to want perfection, no matter how big or small the task is.
5. “I Love My…” is an outlet for you to express and appreciate all the positive traits that make you…well… YOU! Sharing what you love about yourself will make you smile, feel empowered, and uplift your spirit and soul. (we assure you!) Identity challenges you to complete the phrase “I Love My…?”
I love my “smile”. My smile has built me up, it’s a not-so-secret weapon I hold and it’s not as simple as it looks. It takes a lot of practice and keeping my mind clear of negativity that surrounds us! But I know that my smile enables me to be confident and work my way through anything. It encourages others when they are in doubt about themselves and it gives me a super power to know many things about the people I interact with. I smile when I meet strangers and I smile when I meet friends!
