Learn to live out loud, and you will inspire others to do the same. When it comes to taking the next step in your life, always tell yourself: you can have anything you want.
In fact, most of the time, what you want already exists in your life; all you need to do is pause. Define what is beautiful within your life. Beauty can be passion, courage, faith, hope, love, unique, flaws, tears, laughter, accomplishment, intelligence, simplicity, varying, superficial, intuitive, beneath the surface, tangible, intangible, inspiring; it is dependent on the individual. It is not what inspires you, but your choice to be inspired.
When you open your eyes, you open your heart; humans are capable of making something that is so ordinary, and turning it into extraordinary, just by a change in perspective. Life is about choice; although things may happen for reasons, the reason stems from the choices you make. Although your light may be dimmed by a bad day, a heart break, a difficult time, or just a big change in life, it doesn’t mean that your light has been turned off. There is no off switch to humanity, and life is a light in itself. The world around you is a means of expression. Channel your passion from natural energy, the sun, the moon, the stars; the world provides us with beauty that we sometimes overlook. Sometimes, what is right, is indeed, right in front of our eyes, we just look left.

“Stars light up the night sky, the wind blows my hair as I’m trying to get by. It keeps knocking me down, but I’m still coming back for more. I’m coming back for more”-Michele Wroblewski
Instead of looking down, look up and see the world around. The world provides. So open your eyes, and look around, let your body feel those sounds, be where you are, and know where you stand. For whatever keeps coming back around, I’m guessing it’s where you’ll be found. However, don’t be afraid to allow new source of light into your life, for it can help you not just climb your hardships to your successes, but to move mountains. So lift your head to the sky, don’t let life pass you by, and never settle for a mundane life. Believe in what you find to be beautiful in life, and that beauty will translate into your life. Sometimes, it just takes a bump in the road to realize that you have so much adventure left to go; you discover your strength only when you are forced to be strong. Strength is beautiful, and beauty? It exists to be discovered. Perspective will forever be the key to happiness. Life changes who we are, but don’t let life make you forget who you became; never lose appreciation for the beauty of each step of life.
When you feel you have lost it all, and have been stranded on this broken road, when you feel you are at your end, and can no longer bend, when you’ve given your all, and still took the fall, hope will get you back to where you belong. The light may be grey, when you feel you can no longer reach, the height of its peaks, stuck at the bottom beneath. All the rips and the tears, what your heart has already beared. You’ll get what you seek, you just need to believe.
Beauty, my readers, will forever be what you believe it to be. And a beautiful world? That is something to be happy about, and all it took was a second look.

One Shining Star
I’ll sit on this cold damp grass for as long as I have to, to find what I’m looking for in the night sky.
I search for meanings and answers I want to know about life.
And I think as I watch that one shining star,
and how its beauty has made it come so far,
and my strength to continue on was born again, and found.
When a cloud comes and covers that one shining star
it throws us off the path which we’ve come so very far,
and the clouds may hide what’s written in our hearts.
Yet each night I find myself, seeking out the stars, and wishing on you.
The ground feels stronger than it has before.
It allowed the earth to move again, once more.
When I set my eyes on that one shining star,
I realized that night I need not look very far,
it’s distant from the others, yet it’s closer to the ground.
Closer to reality in which a home can be found.
Each night I find myself seeking out the stars, and wishing on you.
Sitting on the grass I feel it deep in my chest,
my soul will provide the answers so I can put my thoughts to rest.
For I’ve moved on from the past, it is no more.
As I sit here and stare at this one shining star,
I think how we compare; what if that one little star never strayed from the rest? I wouldn’t have noticed it…

What have you accepted in your life that took time, physically or mentally?
I have discovered that yes, only time can heal hardships from our past. However, it is not time that heals, but instead, the choices that we make within that time. If we want to heal, we must act. If we do not choose to change what was hindering us in our lives, we will never grow.
What do you appreciate about yourself and within your life?
I stay true to who I am, and no matter what anyone says, I always live in my own way; I am grateful to have people that will stand by me and my choices. Always.
What is one of your most rewarding achievements in life? What goals do you still have?
I shoot for the moon, and if I miss, I seem to always land on stars. When you follow your dreams, life is always exciting. It gives you the fuel to keep going until you reach success. A more concrete goal of mine within the year would be to have the chance to work in my dream city, NYC. I would never be satisfied living as a small town girl.
What is your not-so-perfect way? What imperfections and quirks create your Identity?
I let my heart guide my way; sometimes I do not think of the rationalities of a situation. I am forever a dreamer, and my future will always be guided by my wildest dreams.
How would you complete the phrase “I Love My…?”
I love me; and I will never change who I am.
