Don’t wait, and grab that cup of tea! I’m a coffee lover by morning and a tea lover by night. Don’t judge, I could never choose between the two loves as they serve my soul for different reasons.

Learn the Benefits of Medicinal Tea. We received three samples of Traditional Medicinals, teas created by Herbalists. I’ve had the pleasure of sipping on “Cup of Calm”, “Nightly Night”, and “Chamomile with Lavender” for the past week.

Brand Identity – Highlights at a Glance:
o Package design is clean, soothing, and consistent
o The three teas we have samples of all display the proper logos for “Fair Trade, NON-GMO and USDA ORGANIC” clearly
o Established in 1974

Pros:
o It’s easy to drink and provides directions on the right amount of water so you can soak in just the right amount of aromas
o Affordable and includes 16 wrapped tea bags per box
o 100% recycled carton (at least 55% verified post-consumer waste)
o They have solar panels that provide the majority of the energy to manufacture this product
o The tea bags are made from compostable manila fiber paper
o Their website explains how each tea is beneficial

Cons:
It you don’t like strong tea, then you may not enjoy some of Traditional Medicinals’ Teas, as some are potent. When I say potent, I mean you catch all the herbs as you pour your water into the cup, and as you bring your mouth to take that sip, you inhale all the ingredients. It’s as if you’ve stepped into an herb garden, which some of you may love.

There is always a cure if you don’t prefer that full body experience–don’t dip the tea bag too long. The longer you let the tea bag soak, the stronger and more potent aroma and sip you will have. You can create your own best medicinal tea blend with this old school trick.

Nighty Night - Cup of Calm

My Opinion:
I usually keep my tea simple with just some honey and lemon, but every now and then it’s nice to change it up. With being a new mom of twins I need peace, calm, and “me” time at night. Therefore, I really enjoyed the “Cup of Calm” and the “Nightly Night.” Both are not too strong, and lighter than the “Chamomile with Lavender.”

Overall, I would rate this Traditional Medicinal as one of the best medicinal tea brands. I love the branding and what they stand for when it comes to health and clean ingredients from the inside out.
