I can’t believe in these results and how my energy level has increased when I thought my energy level was already kick ass. I want to share a social media post in an article form because it’s as real and authentic as you can get. Plus, this is my place to share with you my Mom truths and journey.
If you’ve been following me and a reader of Identity Magazine (the website you’re on now), you should know by now that I’m not about “quick fixes”. And over the past 10 years of building an online empowerment magazine, I’ve practiced the “Get All A’s” formula. I practice Self-Acceptance (flaws & all) Appreciation and Personal Achievement.

Get All A’s in the Game of Life
Of course I want to be perfect, but I’m grounded enough to know there is no such thing. The 3 words above, (accept, appreciate, achieve) are a foundation I strive to live by. So when it comes to diet, fitness and mental strength, I believe it takes work, knowledge, resources, support and consistency.
It takes the self-awareness and thought process of “What can I accept/own/embrace with the current situation I’m in?, How can I appreciate and find gratitude for where I’m at NOW on my current journey?, and How can I achieve from acknowledging these two questions as my initial steps to my very own success?”.
For the past several months, just before the holidays I injured my lower back and was told I couldn’t work out, lift my twins, or do laundry. Then, 30 days ago (over 3 months of PT), I was approved to practice planks and push-ups, starting with 10. After a week of that, I then dove into an complete fitness and nutrition program and became a BeachBody Coach. (I’m now at 60 push-ups, 3 sets of 20)
Adding the BeachBody Coach element to my brand has been on my goal list for about 2 years and it’s finally come true! I’m super excited to connect even more with women and support them in their overall wellness goals.
I need to share with you these results and be sure to continue reading after because I share what I was able to participate with recovering from a back injury. I can’t believe the results I have had in the last 21 days ( + 2 weeks prior of push-ups/planks)

What did I Eat
Depending on the fitness goals you desire, what you eat will be different from mine. I was aiming for a calorie intake of 1300-1500 in a day. With this I made sure to consume DAILY SERVINGS:

1 Oils and Butters
My results are from ONLY BEING CLEARED TO do very modified movements. I WAS NOT cleared to do sit-ups, I WAS NOT cleared to do squats and extreme lower body exercises.
On the other hand, I AM CLEARED to eat balanced, to do planks, push-ups, and modified level of these fitness programs (if I feltl ANY slight pull or pain in my back, I had to stop, and I have on certain exercises to prevent an injury again).
My mission for my self and others
To help busy Mothers and Entrepreneurs who’ve LOST THEIR IDENTITY and want to rediscover themselves. Mothers and Entrepreneurs who want to feel confident, energetic, connected, and fulfilled through Mind, body and health and fitness.
Exercise and nutrition CAN be SO SIMPLE.
I’ve always been OKAY with “accepting” my fitness level.
However, This year I felt a shift in my desire. I want to be more fit, more toned, and more strength. I DO NOT WANT TO BE TOLD THAT I CAN’T WORKOUT FOR 3+ MONTHS OR PICK MY KIDS UP. Note: I don’t mind the not being cleared to do laundry or housecleaning, lol
Finally, I’ve found a SIMPLIFIED way of fitness and nutrition and I can get outstanding results right from home. Who doesn’t want that? I can tell you my lifestyle does NOT leave me feeling deprived. I enjoy all the things I desire (pizza & wine)
Why are we so willing to upgrade our TV, phones, handbags, shoes, etc., but when it comes to our health, we are always looking for the cheapest, quickest, easiest way out?

I have learned to accept my “issues” as I experience life and age. Nobody wants to have aches and pains or be injured. I now focus on how to best take care of it and ME to that It doesn’t get worse.
2. What have you learned to appreciate about yourself and/or within your life, physically and mentally? On the other hand OR in contrast, are there elements of who you are that you’re still working on appreciating?
I appreciate the daily challenges the Universe/God/Higher Power throws my way.
3. What is one of your most rewarding achievements in life? Tell us not only what makes YOU most proud but also share the goals and dreams that you still have.
I’m proud to have accomplished my #1 BestSeller, Get All A’s in the Game of Life: Insights Along the Way. And, my children kept me motivated to finish it.
4. Of course, we all have imperfections, or so we think. In truth, we are all perfectly imperfect. What are your not-so-perfect ways? Likewise, what imperfections and quirks create who you are–your Identity?
I’m wayyyyy to hard on myself as a mother, I’m so sure you can agree. Many of us are extremely hard on ourselves. However, I do believe I am one kick ass Mom, and giving it my all!
