Many of us are falling out focus as we settle into the fall season and already thinking about the holidays. On the other side, there are so many women kicking some serious butt and achieving by reaching their goals with no excuses.
Which one are you?
Ya know, there is still PLENTY of time to reach at least one more goal–just sayin’ ( WINK )
According to Small Biz Trends, 69 percent of U.S. entrepreneurs start their businesses at home. To me that represents opportunity for so many of us Moms and women seeking freedom and happiness.
In this article, I highlight both a Mom ( ME ) achieving and feeling accomplished in a typical day where I didn’t and feature a few amazing Entrepreneurs. The most important message I intend for you take away–is learning below how you can achieve and repeat the process over and over.
I’m willing to bet that MOST of you ARE achieving goals in all the various areas within your life.
I’m also willing to bet that maybe you haven’t had the time to stop and reflect on all of your 2018 wins and achievements? Do you agree?
Maybe you just thought to yourself “No, I’m not reaching goals Susan”, and I say, “I bet you are”–at least a few.
If you aren’t feeling accomplished you may have to loosen and open up a little and take a look at your daily tasks. You know, the little things we tend to take for granted, right?
How to Feel Accomplished Now
The little things like:
Getting up and saying YES to life
To parenting
To work
To brushing your teeth
To showering
To eating the right food
To taking care of your fur babies
To being kind to yourself and others
To saving money
To paying a bill
These are HUGE wins.
In my current work and past experiences, when we practice our self-awareness and acknowledge our wins, (big and small) we tend to reach more goals and achieve more frequently.
If you don’t congratulate and pat yourself on the back for the daily tasks and recognize your wins, then you are more inclined to lack motivation–because you aren’t paying attention to the results.
Our results that we own, embrace and acknowledge GIVE US THE POWER AND ENERGY TO DO IT AGAIN.
Make sense? Let me share with you a process and pattern YOU have the ability to control.
Tap into Your Thoughts
Your thoughts are instrumental and extremely important. They fuel your feelings.
Your Fueled Feelings
Your fueled feelings are determined by your thoughts.
Accountable Actions
You’ve got to accept and own your actions because they reflect your feelings and thoughts.
Results
Results are driven by your actions. The quality of your actions to be specific.
Do you see how you can rinse and repeat? Do you see how this pattern can be improved over and over and over? There is no final destination my friend–you keep doing the MIND work to lead this pattern into a positive direction.
As a Mom, with twins still home a few days a week, I often feel like my days are nothing but dizzy. LOL.
The other day I felt “useless” after I put the kids to bed. I felt lost and that the day was for sure a blur. Knowing what I have studied over the years, I didn’t want to go to bed feeling like this and so…I made this list shown below.
I was superwoman today 🙌🏻😜
1️⃣Woke up
2️⃣Brushed my teeth
3️⃣Showered (I didn’t workout, my rest day and I needed it. )
4️⃣Did about an hour of work
5️⃣Drank a delicious healthy shake for my daily vitamins
6️⃣Fed the twins
7️⃣Had a 9:30 call
8️⃣Fed the twins again
9️⃣Reviewed editorial content for Identity
1️⃣0️⃣Fed the twins AGAIN
1️⃣1️⃣Paid a bill
1️⃣2️⃣Had an 11:30 call
1️⃣3️⃣Got the twins dressed
1️⃣4️⃣Took the kids outside to play
1️⃣5️⃣Made them lunch
1️⃣6️⃣Cleaned the main bathroom
1️⃣7️⃣Had another business call at 4
1️⃣8️⃣Took twins to park
1️⃣9️⃣Made twins dinner
2️⃣0️⃣Cleaned our bedroom
2️⃣1️⃣Gave twins bath
2️⃣2️⃣Danced with twins
2️⃣3️⃣Got them to bed 🙌🏻
2️⃣4️⃣Challenged myself to a nightly business training and finished within an hour…
This is what I can remember 😉 24 things done–CHECK. That’s an average of 1 task an hour, not bad for a day with twins at home.
This is a great exercise and I encourage you to do it when you forget what you have achieved in a day! Reading about my wins puts my mind and thoughts in a positive space.
Knowing that us Moms and Entrepreneurs can get into our heads, PLEASE HELP ME CELEBRATE THESE WOMEN:
I asked some of my colleagues to share their biggest wins so far this year. So, scroll down and check out what a few of them had to share. Please show them some love by checking out their businesses…
You never know, they may be able to support you!

DE: What do you believe has been your biggest WIN/ACHIEVEMENT this year? What are you most proud of?
“My biggest achievement for this year (and pretty much for my life thus far) is getting to a place internally where I am hearing and listening to the guidance that is coming to me from my Inner Wisdom, and ACTING ON IT.
The power we all possess inside us is truly awesome, and tapping into it is a simple act that has taken me a lifetime to explore and bring into my daily life. It’s a concept that is at the core of the program I’ve created, and one that transforms the life of everyone who does it.
I’m proud of the quality and heart-centeredness of the work I’ve done through a stronger connection to my Inner Wisdom and God. My thoughts and ideas flow more easily and gracefully, and the work I’m producing is more relatable and helpful to people.
Listening to and acting on my Inner Wisdom is a personal win for me that I hope becomes a win for many others through the program I’ve created.”
DE: What is ONE goal you would still like to achieve before the end of 2018?
