I know, I know—another self-love article claiming to have the answers for you. The difference with this article is that I have experience in lacking self-love, self-worth, and confidence. I come from a background of depression, anger and chaos.
It’s been 11 years of a journey for me and I’m proud to say I’ve discovered so many powers and feel on top of the world—and I want to share that with you!
I’m here to tell you exactly what first step you need to take to ignite the self-love you need to achieve everything and anything on your journey—in your game of life.
Many think they need another individual or something outside of themselves that will give them self-love.
I’m here to shoot straight and tell you that is all BS. The only thing you need to create self-love and hold onto it consistently—IS YOU.
The first question I want to ask you is…
ARE YOU READY FOR SELF-LOVE?
Seriously. Are you truly ready and believe you are ready for self-love? Because that is the first step. Being ready, feeling ready, being aware and accepting responsibility.
YOU MUST ACCEPT THE RESPONSIBILITY SO THAT YOU CAN RECEIVE SELF-LOVE
Once you acknowledge, accept and embrace the responsibility, then you must do the work in order to sustain your self-love, you’ll enjoy the journey so much more.
Why, what, who, and how will you create your self-love?
What resources will you try and have in place?
Who will you ask to be part of your support team?
Who will you share your self-love claim with so that you can be held accountable?
What will you feed your mind and body to support your acceptance for self-love?
You can’t just say you want it and hope it just shows up. It’s doesn’t work like that. The quicker you release that “quick fix” or that fantasy of it just showing up for you—the sooner you’ll be able to appreciate, embrace, see and feel the gratitude strengthening your self-love.

I’m so proud of my full acceptance for a better life. I’ve accepted the responsibility to show up and do the work and continue to do so.
2. Appreciation is everything. What have you learned to appreciate about yourself and/or within your life, physically and mentally? On the other hand OR in contrast, are there elements of who you are that you’re still working on appreciating?
I appreciate my family, friends, colleagues and all the resources that have helped me succeed and achieve self-love throughout the years.

Not thinking about suicide anymore. Years ago I had no self-love or self-worth because I felt like a failure. I was just lost in accepting who I was and owning my way of thinking and way of living. I wasn’t like everybody else, I wanted different, I wanted purpose…and I went for it.
