It was the night before Kindergarten and we’re all so very excited. Especially Mama because her free time is about to get ignited!
June and Cade ask Alexa to wake them up in the A.M. Me, oh Mama Me, smirks and thinks about that afternoon nap—because I can.
We’ve conquered the school prep with such joy. Double the haircuts, double the clothes, double the shoes and I’m thinking oh boy.
We picked out our deli cuts, cheese cubes, and fruits. We stocked up on snacks, gummy bears, but couldn’t find any Barbaloots.
We definitely had a dance party, we’re all super excited. I’m so sorry that you all weren’t invited.
It was shake your booty, twist, and shout, and I won’t forget Cade’s belly breakdance until his pants dropped out.
They brushed their teeth, rinsed with mouthwash—and I just thought, oh my gosh.
They are 5.
They dress themselves
They wipe themselves
They brush their teeth and rinse and repeat.
All by themselves.
It’s the night before kindergarten and I’m beside myself. We’ve entered the next chapter but, ugh there’s still Elf on the Shelf.
To all a good night, I’m about to IGNITE. This Mama here is starting tonight!
