We’re not just about to enter the New Year, but we are entering a NEW DECADE! If you want more from your life, you can step onto an invigorating path of self-realization and, better, self-actualization. And the perfect place to begin is precisely where you are at this very moment.
The journey toward self-acceptance, appreciation and personal achievement commences with YOUR STORY up until the present time–who you are and how you became that person; all of the lessons you’ve learned along the way (both the difficult and the fun ones;) the gifts you’ve received and the gifts you’ve shared; the strengths you’ve recognized; and the support you’ve found along the way.
I have 3 moving parts to this activity, and I promise that if you take the time to do it, you’ll feel on top of the world, and you’ll feel IGNITED with fresh energy, passion, and confidence.
The 3 Decade and Year-End Review + Goal Setting Activities:
- This Video Training: In this video, I take you through the “Get All A’s” formula geared specifically for self-reflection.
- This Celebrate Your Story Guide: (Download here) This can be used hand-in-hand with the video or after you watch the video. It’s an interactive guide to help you celebrate your story and feel empowered.
- Simple Goal Setting Strategy: I talk about this simple goal-setting strategy more towards the end of this video training. However, I break it down below for you as well.
GOAL SETTING STRATEGY
This will IGNITE anyone with an achieving-worthy goal, which by way ALL goals are worthy!
Step One
I need you to let go and remove ALL of your limiting beliefs as you start making a goal list and checking it twice. You MUST approach this exercise as if there will be NO BARRIERS in your way.
Money is not a concern, support is lined up at your door, passion is sitting on your lap and resources are filling up your cup like it’s your favorite beverage during the holidays.
Step Two
After you make that list, you’re going to PICK YOUR TOP 4 goals that you would like to focus on for the year. You may take a day to ensure you pick the goals that truly inspire you. Close your eyes on each and envision how they will make an impact on you and your life.
Step Three
Review your top 4 goals and break them up each quarter for the year. Prioritize them for Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4. The goal here is to focus on ONE of your goals at a time. This instantly streamlines your focus and removes distractions.
Step Four
For each of your 4 goals, create at least of 3 positive and actionable supporting steps. Don’t hesitate or worry if they’re right, wrong, or good enough. Your first step could be to Google XYZ. This way you have at least 3 actions to take for each goal from the start of the year and as you implement, I promise the next step will present itself. Make sense?
There you have it!
You now have your entire year planned out and broken down so that you can achieve your goals. This is as simple as it can get for you, so there are NO EXCUSES. If you achieve your goal before the quarter ends, then dive into your next quarter goal.
If you achieve all 4 goals before the year is up, then go back to your big brave and passionate list to grab then next goal. Then list your first 3 steps and dive in!

We ask that every contributor and expert answer the Identity questions in keeping with our theme.
Their answers can be random and in the moment or they can be aligned with the current article they have written. In that way, and as a team, we hope to encourage and motivate each other, thus inspiring you to Get All A’s.
What have you accepted within your life, physically and/or mentally? Additionally, what are you still working on accepting? Now, we’re not talking about resignation, rather stepping into, embraced, and owned.
I’ve learned to accept the responsibility that when I say “I can’t, it means I won’t or don’t want.” We can do anything if we REALLY want it. I’m always working on accepting the change of seasons as a mother, wife and business owner.
Appreciation is everything. What have you learned to appreciate about yourself and/or within your life, physically and mentally? On the other hand OR in contrast, are there elements of who you are that you’re still working on appreciating?
I appreciate the digital life and how there is so much opportunity out there for all of us to succeed and grow.

This life, being a mother and a wife. I’m extremely blessed and proud of the effort and energy I continue to give it and provide. I enjoy it and continue to grow every day.
