WE DID IT! The twins and I passed 1st grade cyber-school!
Oh my goodness, this is too much
I’m so over 1st-grade math
Well, I got a 40/40 on their science projects, HA
Oh good, they have 3 lives today
Ugh, I’m so tired of ELA
This was just SOME of the internal drama in my mind over the last few days of playing “learning coach” with this cyber school life.
I was itching for cyber-school to be done and I’m celebrating the twins success for sure…
But, to keep it real…
I’m dreading having my kids full time now! LOL.
I won’t have those few hours of them being with their teachers online, right?
I don’t have much help here and working from home it’s a bit trickier to hire help because I’d be asking the sitter to keep the kids outside or in the basement playroom.
So many variables, so much to plan and I’m sure you can relate.
It’s LIFE.
Now, it’s time to shift seasons and readjust again because there’s always a circumstance and it’s human for us to blame the circumstances. I could come up with a boatload of reasons to complain, but that’s not how I roll.
Our minds and approach are in charge on keeping us calm to allow ease and flow through each season of life.
So what am I doing for the summer with no more cyber-school, kids full-time, vacations planned an all?
Well, I plan to keep my self-care in check as much as I can with allowing wiggle room.
I have my current clients to support and new clients enrolling, prepping for their next year. So, I’ll be getting all of them organized and ready for ease and flow now and for their year.
I scheduled 2 weeks of full day camps (karate + soccer) for the twins, starting June 21st until early July.
My Mom comes to visit, so we’ve got vacation days planned in the mix.
I’m going to schedule pool sessions at our community pool, and visit friends and family before we head on vacation for 3 weeks in July.
Lots to plan and even more reason to have the vision throughout the shifts in seasons.
I’m aiming for the best success and our best balance all around and here’s My summer survivor checklist is:
✅Continue my daily self-care
✅Continue family QT
✅Golf lots
✅Add in Pool Days
✅Add in river fun days
✅Read (or listen) to 3 good books for at least 10 minutes a day
✅Work as CEO in the AM and then with my scheduled client times
✅Vacations are planned
✅The kitchen is stocked with all the goods
✅Healthier cocktails lined up
and…
We are ready to rock and roll!
What’s your summer game plan for YOU, FAMILY, and BIZ?
