Wow. Meet my new Friend…
Do you believe in messages or signs from the Universe? Over the years as an Entrepreneur and a Mom Entrepreneur (Mompreneur) my spiritual side has evolved quite a bit from learning how to let go more, be open more, and lean into life more.
One of my biggest “higher power” experiences was when Rob and I found out we were having twins, just after having a miscarriage. The story before that is mind-blowing, but the short version is that for years I would say I wanted twins and one night, Rob said he wouldn’t mind that either.
So I really started to listen and receive more of what nature and life were offering me. I’m always reading in between the lines and believe in trusting the Universe.
This is a skill that’s priceless and I thank my training for the release of strict society rules, beliefs, and whatnot. I see things. I hear things, I feel things, and I know things because I lean into the discomfort of it all.
My latest and new yellow finch friend, I named him Love.
Love came to visit me at a time when I was being hard on myself to my coach and feeling a little anxious about my audacious goals for the end of the year. It’s normal to set those big goals and then fear creeps the F in. It happens I’m grateful to have the tools and coaches to help me process and settle down the internal drama.
Love is my new Yellow Finch that comes to visit at 9:45 am like clockwork, and taps on every single window starting from my bedroom, all the way down to the main floor.
Um, Love is dedicated because we have about 30 windows, LOL.
At first, I thought it was just a lucky, one-time visit, but it’s been 2 weeks now! So of course, I had to look up the meaning and share it.
So let’s break down the Yellow, Male Finch, my new friend, Love.
A yellow bird symbolizes joy and a positive outlook on life.
Yup, totally me most of the time, so it came to remind me to stick to my plan.
Yellow birds are often used in movies and books to symbolize joy and happiness… Some even believe that birds help to express spiritual freedom or psychological liberation.
YES, I accept and receive this all.
The meaning of the goldfinch signifies abundance and prosperity. It symbolizes the importance of positivity and optimism, and the value of happiness, joy, and simplicity in your life. Just like the crow spirit animal, the goldfinch meaning also points to the need for variety and diversity.
I could cry because this is so true and these are the values I bring in my work, positivity, optimism, happiness, simplicity, authenticity, and I LOVE the variety in my clients and the diversity of how they run their Mompreneur lives.
The finch spiritual spirit has been associated with tidings of joy and happiness in various Native American cultures. These people observed the variety of colors, songs, and behaviors of these little birds and deemed them the perfect animal symbol of happiness and celebration.
Goldfinch’s color alone gives it strong affiliations with solar energy since the hue gets brighter when summer approaches. … Seeing a Goldfinch became an omen of good luck and wellness. Among Birds, Goldfinches illustrate great dexterity.
So, I’m SCREAMING with joy and the coolness of what I’ve been experiencing. These are the little things in life that drive and ignite my mission and message to thrive in MomLife + BizLife.
How are you aware and engaged with your surroundings? Are you being poked by the Universe in any way, shape, or form? For me, this was my sign to continue to do what I love and stay the course of this audacious goal, no matter what because I believe in my commitment to reaching it. I’ll do it with joy, optimism, variety, and more!
