They can be so mean and unsupportive. One thing I practice with my thoughts is asking myself if I would say these mean thoughts to my family, friends, or colleagues?
I wouldn’t tell them they failed, or they are a horrible mother, or they’re not capable, successful, worthy… right?
So why do we project these thoughts onto ourselves?
Well, we’re human, but we can practice reducing this unsupportive internal dialogue.
“This will never work.”How about a subtle shift? “
Some things won’t turn out the way I imagined or want, but is it worth trying?”
