When you feel like you’re losing in life…

I’ve experienced imposter syndrome and so has pretty much every Mompreneur going after what she wants.
Written by Susan Vernicek

We are all fighting our obstacles within ourselves and those around us—in our life because we co-exist, right?

A lesson from Rob’s Men’s soccer team.

But first, let’s celebrate the fact that I’m sitting here on the couch in peace and quiet. Rob is off and took the kids to their soccer. It’s interesting how I instantly feel a weight off my shoulders as they drive away.

No guilt. No shame. Just a BIG OLE SIGH + SMILE.

I know you feel me, mama. This mama needs quiet time, space, and a break from the routine that I’ve been holding together for months and it’s rewarding as I reflect.

So much chaos happens naturally in life, right?

Between making it to school on time to pack all the things for after-school activities, dinner, showers, homework, school dances, fundraisers, etc..

And while the twins and I are figuring out life daily, Rob is a parent to 70+ college kids.

In between our chaos, his teams have seen injury after injury. Rob has made multiple trips to the emergency room this season, late at night, and very early in the morning, and has stayed hours to be an ear and advocate for these players as they are away from home.

His men’s team was off to a slow start, a losing season as they would say. But along the way, Rob, my husband, and his coaching staff tried new tactics, new speeches, and new approaches so they could have a chance.

They faced many obstacles within each other, themselves, and their own lives as college students.

I watched them fight for it all season and last night they won their PSAC playoff game. But not after double overtime and PKs to take the win.

We are all fighting our obstacles within ourselves and those around us—in our life because we co-exist, right?

The lesson here is to not give up, even when many (or YOU) may think you have lost already.

You can try new tactics on your journey for your specific goals. After all, even if you don’t have the self-care, balance, and profits you want in your MomLife + BizLife, then you haven’t tried “everything”.

When I work with my clients it’s about consistent self-care, it’s about the flow between MomLife + BizLife, and it’s about making money in their businesses.
