7 Life-Changing Habits I Keep and You Should Too

I’ve experienced imposter syndrome and so has pretty much every Mompreneur going after what she wants.

These 7 life-changing habits that I’ve kept for over 7 years have shifted everything for the better.

I’m often asked about my energy and focus and clients and friends ask how I do “it all”.

Well, first. Please understand that I don’t “do or have it all”. What I do have is, MY all. I define what my priorities are in life and have fun appreciating the challenge to create them daily.

It’s not perfect and I’m far from perfection…but I make it a game and you can too.

Inside Mindset + Achieve™ I share a 7-day challenge to help increase self-awareness and energy. These 7 life-changing habits that I’ve kept for over 7 years have shifted everything for the better. These habits ignite energy, confidence, focus, and clarity, and that naturally infuses into your MomLife + BizLife.

7 Life-Changing Habits

Evaluate Sleep

I typically evaluate quarterly as a Mom with demanding kids. Seasons change and so does my sleep schedule. It’s okay to adapt so you consistently get quality sleep to perform at your peak.

Decrease Alcohol

I love my cocktails, but once I experimented with reducing them, I felt such a difference in my daily decisions and energy. As a Bell’s Palsy recover-er it really helped heal that as well.

Increase Water

I increased my water intake to 1/2 my body weight in oz. So I weigh 127 and drink 64oz of water. When you are hydrated, your MIND is more focused and clear. You’ll experience fewer crashes, less stress, less frustration, and be more energized.

More Veggies

Eating veggies most—is one of my biggest challenges, but they are essential for your health. I aim for 4 servings a day and use a power greens supplement for 1 serving, a serving or 2 of cauliflower in my protein shake, and then 2 servings with dinner and usually always with my eggs. It’s been really helpful and easier for me to get my greens for the past 7 years.

More Sex

Have more sex. It can help support healthy relationships and may improve overall well-being. It is also linked to individual benefits including stress relief, improved sleep, increased immunity, and better cardiac health.

Move Your Body

I move my body for at least 20 minutes, 5 days a week. If you choose to use #5 as your 20-minute movement, that’s doubling down on yourself and a hell yea in my book.

Non-Negotiable

I don’t miss more than 2 days in a row of moving my body, drinking all the water I need, eating my veggies, etc. With all of these tips, I challenge you to do all for 7 days and then work to maintain it. If you miss a day, it’s cool. If you miss 2 days, no problem…but stop there. Don’t make it 3 days. Challenge yourself you do all 6 again in one day. Make it a game.
