Dear Amazing Mompreneur,
As we gather around the glow of twinkling lights and the warmth of the holiday season, I wanted to share with you a magical thought that has continued to serve me in every chapter of life:
“I don’t have anything figured out. I have an idea, and I’m ready to navigate it.”
This mantra first rooted itself in my life years ago, when I was expecting twins. I knew the journey ahead would be far from easy. Diaper changes, sleepless nights, and double the cuddles—it was overwhelming to think about. But here’s the thing: I knew I was capable of figuring it out as I went. Step by step, moment by moment, I embraced the unknown and leaned into the adventure with an open heart and a willingness to learn.
Fast-forward to today: This same thought continues to guide me in my business, in pursuing new ideas, and now as my family embarks on another big transition. We’re packing up our home, spending our last Christmas here, and doing our best to fit in all the holiday joy amidst the boxes and to-do lists.
Are we 100% ready? Nope.
We’re about 95% calm and ready, and the other 5% is scared and nervous. But we trust the Universe and believe that everything will work out just as it’s meant to. And you know what? That’s enough.
My Wish for You This Holiday Season
To each of you incredible mompreneurs navigating your own journey, my wish for you this season is simple yet profound:
- Embrace the unknown with grace and courage.
- Trust in your ability to figure things out, even when the path feels uncertain.
- Celebrate your wins—big and small—and give yourself credit for showing up.
As we step into 2024, let’s carry this spirit of possibility with us. Let’s continue to dream big, take bold steps, and trust that we’re capable of handling whatever comes our way. Remember, it’s not about having everything figured out. It’s about having an idea, taking the first step, and navigating from there.
