December is such a contradictory month, isn’t it? Well, here’s the December message for moms.

It’s equal parts magic and mayhem, twinkle lights and tangled emotions, reflection and rushing. It’s the season where the world tells you to slow down and savor… while simultaneously piling on every school concert, client deadline, social gathering, end-of-year task, and holiday expectation imaginable.

And in the middle of all that?

There’s you. A woman who’s been navigating MomLife + BizLife, adapting through every plot twist this year brought, and still showing up with intention (even on the days that didn’t feel intentional at all).

That alone deserves acknowledgment. But December invites something deeper.

This is the month where your A-Game Approach becomes more than a framework; it becomes an anchor.

Because as we close out the year, you’re not just wrapping gifts and tying loose ends.

You’re quietly evaluating your energy, your choices, your growth, your patterns, your desires. You’re seeing what worked… and what absolutely didn’t. Lastly, you’re realizing what you no longer want to carry into the new year.

The Sacred Pause

Most women sprint through December as if proving something. More events, more tasks, and more doing.

But what if this month is less about the sprint and more about the sacred pause? The moment you step into Awareness and actually see yourself clearly?

What you overcame.
What you held.
What you built.
What nearly broke you.
What made you stronger.
What surprised you.
Who you became.

Because if you’re reading this, you didn’t just get through 2025.
You actively shaped it—decision by decision, boundary by boundary, moment by moment.

Let’s Talk Appreciation. The Kind That Actually Changes You

This is the part most women skip because it feels indulgent.
But appreciation isn’t indulgent.
It’s foundational.
It’s science-backed.
And it’s the fuel for everything you want next year.

Appreciation doesn’t say, “Everything was perfect.”

It says, “Even in the imperfect, I grew.

In the A-Game Approach, Appreciation is what helps you see how far you’ve come so you can step more confidently into what’s next.

Without it, you drag scarcity, guilt, and exhaustion into January and you know exactly where that leads: burnout, overcommitting, and losing yourself in everyone else’s expectations all over again.

So this month, try a new tradition:

Three Questions for Your December A-Game Check-In

  1. What am I proud of myself for this year; even if no one else noticed?
  2. What did I learn about myself through the challenges I faced?
  3. Who am I becoming, and what does she need more (or less) of moving forward?

These aren’t resolutions.
They’re revelations.

Release the Pressure to “Finish It All”

The to-do list is ongoing. It’s not supposed to be finished.
1. You’re not behind.
2. You’re not late.
3. You’re human.

December is not a deadline. It’s a transition. A bridge. A moment to realign.

Instead of asking, “What should I check off before the year ends?”
Ask, “What would actually make me feel grounded heading into the next one?”

That answer will not come from hustle.
It will come from honesty.

Your Permission Slip for December

As you move through these next few weeks, balancing celebrations, emotions, opportunities, and obligations remember:

You’re allowed to simplify.
You’re allowed to rest.
You’re allowed to say no.
You’re allowed to not force joy.
You’re allowed to show up differently this year.
You’re allowed to honor where you are, not where you “should” be.

There is no prize for being the most overwhelmed woman in the room.

The Final A-Game Reminder of 2025

Before you step into the new year, step into yourself.

Awareness.
Acceptance.
Agency.
Appreciation.
Acknowledgment.

This is your A-Game.
This is your identity.
And this is your moment to close the year with clarity instead of chaos.

You’ve done more than you give yourself credit for.

And December?
It isn’t asking you to do more.
It’s asking you to witness who you’ve become.
