October 2026 Audacious Astrology: Choose. Claim. Transform.

October’s energy reminds me that growth isn’t always about adding another goal.

Your Cosmic Blueprint for MomLife + BizLife

October isn’t asking you to add more; it’s asking you to get honest about what you actually want. There is a difference. As moms, business owners, leaders, partners, friends, and women with dreams of our own, we’re constantly making choices. Some are intentional; others happen almost automatically because we’ve been doing the same thing for so long that we stopped asking whether it still fits.

October changes that.

Libra season puts relationships, balance, values, and the choices we make with other people under the spotlight, and with Venus retrograde beginning early in the month, themes around relationships, money, worth, and what we value may deserve another look.

Then Scorpio season arrives and takes us deeper.

Not: What should I want? Not: What does everyone else expect from me? But: What do I want now? Because you’re allowed to change. You’re allowed to outgrow a goal, a strategy, a relationship dynamic, a belief, or even an old version of success.

This month, choose what aligns.

Claim what matters, and have the audacity to transform what doesn’t.

Key Dates to Circle:

October 3: Venus Retrograde Begins: Venus stations retrograde in Scorpio, beginning a review period around relationships, money, values, attraction, and what truly feels worthwhile. This retrograde continues into November.

October 10: New Moon in Libra: A reset around relationships, partnerships, boundaries, negotiation, and balance. Instead of asking how you can keep everyone happy, ask what a healthier balance actually looks like for you.

October 23: Scorpio Season Begins: The Sun enters Scorpio, shifting the month’s energy from balance and connection toward truth, depth, courage, and transformation.

October 24: Mercury Retrograde Begins: Slow down before assuming, reacting, signing, sending, or deciding. Revisit conversations and details that deserve another look. Mercury remains retrograde until November 13.

October 26: Full Moon in Taurus: This Full Moon highlights the Taurus-Scorpio tension between security and transformation. What feels comfortable isn’t necessarily what still fits.

Identity Magazine: Horoscopes

October Horoscopes

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Mantra: I don’t lose myself to keep the peace. October turns your attention toward partnership, Aries. You’re usually ready to lead, decide, and move. This month asks you to listen, collaborate, and notice where compromise is healthy, and where you’ve compromised too much. You don’t have to choose between strong relationships and a strong sense of self.

Your Audacious Action: Have the conversation you’ve been avoiding because you’re worried about someone else’s reaction.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Mantra: My stability can evolve with me. October may challenge your definition of comfortable. Routines, relationships, or responsibilities that once created security could suddenly feel restrictive. That doesn’t mean you need to blow everything up. It means you need to pay attention. Your late-month Full Moon brings your needs into sharper focus. Don’t ignore them simply because change feels inconvenient.

Your Audacious Action: Identify one area where “comfortable” has quietly become “stuck.”

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Mantra: I make room for what brings me alive. October reconnects you with creativity, expression, joy, and the parts of yourself that can disappear underneath responsibilities. Not everything you do needs to be productive. Ironically, making room for what energizes you may be exactly what makes you better at everything else.

Your Audacious Action: Put something on your calendar this month simply because you WANT to do it.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Mantra: I can care deeply without carrying everything. Home and family take center stage early this month, and Cancer, you have a beautiful tendency to notice what everyone needs, sometimes before they do. But who is noticing what you need? October asks you to reconsider the invisible responsibilities you’ve accumulated and whether they still need to belong to you.

Your Audacious Action: Hand off one responsibility you’ve convinced yourself “only you can do.”

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Mantra: My voice is powerful when it’s honest. October puts emphasis on communication. There may be something you need to say, teach, pitch, clarify, or revisit. But don’t confuse being loud with being clear. Your power this month comes from saying what you mean without overexplaining it.

Your Audacious Action: Make one clear ask—in your business or personal life, without apologizing for wanting it.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Mantra: My worth is not measured by my output. Money and value come into focus this month, Virgo, and I’m not only talking about what’s in your bank account. What is your time worth? Your expertise? Your peace? Your energy? October may expose places where you’re giving far more than you’re receiving.

Your Audacious Action: Audit one area of your business where you’re undercharging, overdelivering, or undervaluing your time.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Mantra: I choose myself without abandoning the people I love. Happy birthday, Libra. Your season isn’t asking you to become someone new. It’s asking you to notice how much you’ve changed. The New Moon in your sign offers a beautiful moment to reconsider who you are now, not who everyone has grown accustomed to you being. Harmony doesn’t require self-abandonment.

Your Audacious Action: Choose one thing you want for YOUR next year before considering anyone else’s opinion about it.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Mantra: I trust the woman emerging from this season. Your birthday season begins with some serious reflection already underway. Venus retrograde may bring old questions about identity, relationships, money, confidence, or desire back to the surface. Don’t rush to answer them. Sometimes we need to meet an old version of ourselves again just to realize we no longer belong there.

Your Audacious Action: Write down three things you no longer want to carry into your next year of life.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Mantra: Rest is part of my strategy. Your instinct is usually forward. Next adventure. Next idea. Next opportunity. October asks for something different: space. You may need more solitude, sleep, reflection, or time away from noise than usual. Don’t interpret that as losing momentum. Sometimes the next direction becomes obvious only when we finally get quiet enough to hear ourselves.

Your Audacious Action: Create one completely unscheduled block of time this month—and protect it.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Mantra: I don’t have to build everything alone. October shines a light on community. You’ve worked hard to become capable, but capability can become a trap when it convinces you that doing everything yourself is somehow admirable. Look around. There are people who can collaborate with you, refer you, support you, challenge you, and introduce you to rooms you can’t reach alone.

Your Audacious Action: Reach out to one person you’d genuinely love to collaborate with before the end of the year.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Mantra: I define success for myself. Career, reputation, and direction come into focus this month. But before you chase the next milestone, ask whether it’s still YOUR milestone. October’s deeper energy could expose a professional goal you’ve been pursuing because it looks impressive rather than because it feels meaningful. You’re allowed to redefine success.

Your Audacious Action: Rewrite your definition of success in one sentence—without mentioning anyone else’s expectations.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Mantra: My next chapter requires a bigger perspective. October invites you to zoom out. You’ve been living inside the details for long enough. What do you want your life to look like a year from now? Three years from now? Travel, education, writing, teaching, speaking, or expanding your work may start calling to you. Don’t dismiss the idea because you don’t know how yet.

Your Audacious Action: Take one tangible step toward something that expands your world.

Coach Susan’s Cosmic Coaching Corner

I’ve reinvented myself more times than I can count. Not because I couldn’t make up my mind, but because I kept growing. Sometimes women need permission to hear this: You are allowed to change your mind.

You can build something you desperately wanted and later decide you want something different. You can love your business and change how you run it. You can love your family and still want something that’s entirely yours. You can reach a goal and discover it didn’t feel the way you thought it would. You can even become incredibly good at something and decide you don’t want to do it anymore.

That isn’t failure. That’s self-awareness. The danger isn’t changing your mind. The danger is spending years committed to a version of your life simply because you once announced that was what you wanted.

October’s energy reminds me that growth isn’t always about adding another goal. Sometimes growth is simply recognizing that this doesn’t fit me anymore, but this does.

Then having the courage to choose accordingly.

You don’t have to disregard the woman you used to be to become the woman you are now. Be grateful for her. She made decisions with the information, dreams, circumstances, and confidence she had then. She got you here, but she doesn’t have to decide where you go next.

That’s growth, and that’s audacity, too.

With audacity, Susan Vernicek
